WHY SOBER LIVING?

Improve Your Chance of Staying Sober

What do you do after treatment? You’ve completed the courageous first steps towards sobriety by getting substances out of your system, spending time in counseling, learning about what happened and why, and now you’re newly “clean” and looking to start over. You’re done, as far as many people are concerned, right? No! Do not fall into this trap – recovery is a lifelong process. For most individuals, exiting the "bubble" of treatment can be just as daunting as entering it. A newly sober addict or alcoholic striving to recover in old environments riddled with triggers, substance use, and unhealthy relationships can ultimately fall to relapse.

Addiction specialists agree that stepping down into a sober living environment is the best option for individuals striving for long term recovery. Sober living is an opportunity to work in a peer-based community at cultivating self-esteem, healthy behaviors, sober relationships, and essential life skills - all the while being held accountable for the effort necessary to stay sober. Residents can slowly but surely ease back into the 'real world' supported by their peers. Cornerstone Sober Living residents are held to a standard of living that encourages independence such as household chores and gaining employment.

Most importantly - we want our residents to understand that getting sober is just the beginning - a life rooted in recovery is full of fun, fellowship, integrity, new beginnings, and serenity. Give yourself the best chance possible at staying sober and creating your recovery.

FELLOWSHIP.
INTEGRITY.
RECOVERY.

THE FOUNDATION OF GROWTH

Providing our residents the safe space to heal and thrive as they transition to a life rooted in recovery.
